CHEAPART Cyprus 2018 is a major artist-run exhibition and contemporary art platform, a meeting point and network of artists, art professionals, collectors, institutions and art public. CHEAPART collaborates with a large number of emerging and established artists. This year's exhibition is showcasing artists from Cyprus, Greece, France, Finland, Austria, England, Luxembourg, with more than 800 artworks at a single price of 80 euros per piece. Artists have the opportunity to build a personal networking system of collaborations as well as an individual portfolio of clients. The low communicational price of the work allows the artist to market more innovative ideas, as audience and art lovers become an ambassador of their art.
From May 11 – May 13, artists and members of the art community from Cyprus and abroad will connect in the midst of hundreds of works available to the older, and the emerging art audience.
CHEAPART Cyprus 2018 is part of the European Exhibition Network organized by CHEAPART Non-Profit Cultural Organization. With main focus on researching experimental ideas and promoting innovative artwork, the organization established an exhibition model connecting the local contemporary art scene with international art community. Since the first exhibition in 1995, these large-scale exhibitions have hosted more than 1000 artists, extending the Exhibition Network over 5 major European cities, Athens, Thessaloniki, Vienna, Limassol and Amsterdam. CHEAPART stages it’s exhibitions in collaboration with prominent art institutions and venues such as the Vienna Kuenstlerhaus, TIF Helexpo Congress Center Athens-Thessaloniki Greece, Loods6 - Amsterdam, and the Evagoras Lanitis Center – Limassol.
